I get this warm and fuzzy feeling when he looks at me. It’s almost like he can read my mind and his eyes are responding to that constant question in the back of my head. Anytime he says my name my stomach seems to disappear, overcome by my heart taking up every inch inside of me. I love shadows around his nose and the dark peach fuzz on his jawline that gives a small glimpse into his later years. His hair falls in his face and around his ears, desperately in need of a haircut, but I love every strand anyways. His dark, brown eyes are like never-ending space that I just keep falling deeper and deeper into.

His arms are wrapped around my waist, mine around his neck. Our eyes are locked and our gaze is fixed on each other. Ever so slowly our body’s pull towards each other and our noses pressed together. I tilt my head down to look at my feet and our foreheads meet. A giggle of leaks out of me as his hand moves up towards my face. He pushes my chin up with his pointer finger bringing my eyes back to his. “I love you so much.” His whisper is deep and raspy. “And I love you more” I breath through my smile, which is so wide me cheeks hurt. That’s when his head tilts sideways and fits like a puzzle piece with mine. Our lips meet. This sweet moment, this magical second is what I’ve waited a lifetime for.
